Important Announcement

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana upgraded its Case Management/Electronic Case Filing System (CM/ECF) to the Next Generation of CM/ECF (NextGen) on Monday, November 8, 2021. Should you encounter any issues logging into CM/ECF, click HERE to review the section titled E-filers must do the following in order to continue to electronically file in NextGen. If after following the instructions on the website, you are still experiencing issues logging into CM/ECF, please call the Clerk's office at (317) 229-3700.

Modified Filing Procedures Address Security Concerns

In response to the recent disclosure of wide-spread cybersecurity breaches of government computer systems, effective January 11, 2021, certain Highly Sensitive Documents must be filed only in paper form. Case Search Information

Case docket information for Civil cases opened prior to July 1, 2002, and for Criminal cases opened prior to February 1, 2007, can be found through the court's Case Search Information page. Although the docket (chronological list of case activity) may be viewed, documents in these cases are not available electronically. Copies of case documents may be requested through the Clerk's office, using the Copy Request Form.
